Our Promise
Gondilal Saraf has been serving Banda since 1901. Customer satisfaction and trust are at the heart of everything we do. Every piece of jewellery we sell is BIS hallmarked and comes with a proper bill.
Returns
We accept returns for defective products under the following conditions:
- The item must be returned within 7 days of purchase
- Original bill/receipt must be presented
- The item must be in its original condition — unused and undamaged
- Hallmark and tags must be intact
- Custom-made or specially ordered items cannot be returned unless defective
If a manufacturing defect is found, we will repair or replace the item at no extra cost.
Old Gold Exchange
We gladly accept old gold jewellery in exchange for new purchases. Your old gold is weighed, tested for purity, and valued at the current market rate. The exchange value is adjusted against your new purchase — you only pay the difference.
Exchange Policy
- Gold jewellery purchased from Gondilal Saraf can be exchanged at full value (current gold rate, minus making charges)
- Gold from other BIS-hallmarked jewellers is accepted at current market rate after purity testing
- Silver items can be exchanged at prevailing silver rates
- Exchange is available any time — no time limit on jewellery purchased from us
- Original bill is required for full-value exchange; without bill, exchange is based on purity test
Refund Policy
- Refunds are processed for the gold/silver value at the rate on the day of return
- Making charges are non-refundable (except for defective items)
- Refund is issued within 3-5 business days via the original payment method
- For UPI/bank transfer purchases, refund is credited to the same account
- Cash purchases are refunded in cash
